first child to be here. We have her room all together and now we just need her here.

It's been a while

Hello all, I'm sorry I've been MIA for a few months.  Everything is still great with the pregnancy.  we have about 9 weeks till she is here. We have her first baby shower this weekend at my best friend Jessicas new house.  I will post pictures next week of it.  Were pretty sure we decided on her name, we really like Jayden Bristol Dillard. I hope all of you do as well. Matt and I recently got a new toy at the house.  A hot tub and man is it nice. We love it.  So far we have used it like every night.  I can only get my feet in now while I'm pregnant but soon I will be enjoying the jets on my back. 

Let's see since its summer time we have already been to the lake house a few times this summer.  It sure is different going to the lake when your pregnant.  Everything seems a little tougher I guess with all the extra weight.  hehehe 

Well I better get back to work, I just wanted to take a second to say hello to all and let you know that things are great in Norman just ready for our little girl to get here.

It's A Girl!!!!!

Hello friends and family, hope this finds you all well?  We are so happy to announce that we found out were having a little girl.  As some of you know we are due in August and can't wait for our new edition.  Right now we are in the middle of starting her little room.  Its a lot of fun. 

Well thats really all thats going on with us, just work and waiting for the weather to make its mind up here in Oklahoma.  It seems one day its cold then the next is warm, strange.

Looking forward to another Spring trip to Aspen

Last year I think Matty and I went in the Summer and Winter to Aspen.  Here are some pics from our summer trip.  The first picture is of Mike and Libby after our 25 mile bike ride.  The next picture is of Matty and that lil. Milo on a hike.  Its so beautiful there.  Then the 3rd picture is Matt and Mike on a break during a long bike ride.  If you haven't biked in the mountains before well then you haven't biked.  It's tough peddling up steep mountains.  We hope to go again for a weekend get away next month.  I will keep you posted.

Halloween 2008

Ok so most of you know the past year has been the best year of my life and I realized since I started this blog in 2009 there were several events and great pics from the pervious year.   This past Halloween I was Strawberry Shortcake and Matt was a motocross driver.  We had several parties to attend that night and this picture was taking at our friend Timmys house.  I just wanted to share our halloween fun last year with all of you. 

NKOTB Concert - Tulsa

so some of my oldest and dearest friends wanted to check out the New Kids On the Block Tour in Tulsa.  One of my best friends Nikki was a dancer on the tour and thats how we got such great seats.  Jessica, Kristin, Jenifer, and Erin went with me.  the concert was Monday March 9th and maybe cause I'm getting old or just preggers but the show was long for me.  It was great to see them though.  They look like they haven't changed since the first time I saw them in concert 17 years ago. Well I better get back to work I just wanted to show some of the fun I have been having. 

My 30th Birthday

On Friday March 6th we celebrated my 30th Birthday at Louies in Norman.  Heres a pic of some of the girls who attend several others where there and it was one of the best birthdays I had.  Who knew turning 30 could be so good.  

A Busy Fun Birthday week

So who say's turning 30 is a downer.  Not for me.  I'm so excited to turn 30 this Friday.

I feel like with each year I get better, wiser and happier.  Tonight I'm taking 3 of my dearest friends to the Thunder NBA game.  It's still exciting for us here in OKC sine we just got our first NBA team this year.  Then tomorrow night I have glow in the dark bowling with my friends in Norman and on Friday I'm celebrating with my mom her boyfriend at lunch and then I have a birthday party at Louies in Norman.  I can't wait.  I think a bunch of my friends will be there and it will be good to see everyone. I will post pics soon of all the events.  

riding bikes

Today in Norman the weather feels awesome.  This morning when I got up I thought to myself I'm gonna ride my bike to work.  I thought why not I just need to get it out of our Shed in our backyard and make sure I wear flats so I can peddle.  

I looked over at my husband and gave him a kiss since he was still in bed. (lucky man gets to sleep longer)

I said wish me luck.  He said for what, I said I'm riding my bike to work.  He got worried about me crossing the street and riding on parts there were no sidewalks since I'm pregnant.  I told him there's northing to worry about.  I will be fine.  I started off and realized I needed more air in my tires.  Not sure if they just lost air over time or all the weight I'm caring around with the pregnancy.  After I added some much needed air I was off and it was fun.  I had so much fun that I think I may start riding to work a few days a week.  I need to get a basket to hold my purse and a helmet would be smart but I think thats really all I need.  So if you live in Norman you might just see a pregnant lady on her bike in the mornings looking spiffy for work so feel free to give me a honk and a wave.  

Bowling night with the friends

Bowling Rocks!!!!!!!!!!!


Bowling is fun for all.   A few months ago several of my friends wanted to get together.  So I started a bowling night once a month.  Lately we have been going on Wednesday nights.  Oklahoma is still one of the cheapest places in the world I feel when it comes to living and entertainment.  

On Wednesday nights they have $5 to bowl then 50 cents per game.  You can't beat it.  But were thinking of trying Glow in the Dark bowl next month.  That will be on Thursdays, Its not like were pros or anything, I think the best I've done is 120.  For those of you who don't know it's out of 300.  I should be happy I think I started at 68 per game.  Matt and I blame it on the Wii.  We bowl a lot at home on the Wii and maybe that's what's throwing us off.

Someone please tell me why your stomach feels like a bottom less pit when your pregnant?

I feel like I'm hungry every 2 hours it's craziness.  Things are great here besides the hunger and back pain.  Matt and I are going to have a great Valentine dinner this weekend.  I have another Dr. apt tomorrow so if the ultrasound is cool and viewable I will post it this week.  Hope all is well with all of you.  Love Drea

My dads Birthday

So to most it's a normal Wednesday in February  but today is my dads birthday.  Since I'm an only child I try to make a big deal about it for him cause it's not like I can count on a brother or sister to spoil him.  

Charles Charles is the one on the right standing next to 2 of my best friends in the whole wide world.  The picture was taken 3 months ago at our wedding rehearsal dinner in Oklahoma City.   Ross Rech, Meredith Eckles in the middle and Charles Andrew Charles on the right.  Not sure what my dad is holding up cause truth be told those who know Charlie Charlie know you can never tell with him.  He keeps you laughing and guessing.

Since I lived in Los Angeles for 10 years away from my family it's so nice being back home.  I love that my dad works 10 min's away from my office.  I think Matty and I will take him out to dinner or lunch tomorrow. 

Another important event tomorrow is my 2nd pregnancy dr. apt.  Yeah.  I'm 13 weeks so I hope at tomorrows ultrasound they can tell me the sex.  I think I'm getting to excited cause most of my friends who have had baby say they were able to tell some where between 14 and 20 weeks .  Everyone in my family is so excited.  That's the number one question week to week.  "Do you know yet, when will you find out."  Yes Matty and I will for sure find out the sex cause we cant wait to decorate our babies room.  Well I suppose I should work some today.  

Upset stomach and back pain are just not that much fun

Hello upset stomach and back pain, I feel ya and want to know when your going away?

Wow, guess I've been pretty lucky until now.  This past weekend I felt so tired, filled with back pain and I had an upset stomach Saturday and Sunday.  :(  Hopefully it will pass.  

We went up to Matts dad to watch the super bowl last night.  That was fun.  Although the team I wanted to win didn't so that sucked.  I have a dr. apt. this week so hopefully all will go well.  Well I better go for now, it's my lunch break at work and I need to take care of some things.  

11 weeks pregnant

It's almost the end of the month... Yippie.  I have never been one of those who wishes the days away but ever since I've been pregnant I just want the time to fly by until my little baby is here.

I'm 11 weeks and starting to finally get some energy back.  I work a 9 to 5 job in Norman and It's been so hard every afternoon at work, from like 1 pm till 4ish I'm sitting at my desk exhausted trying to stay awake.  But then when I get off and go home I cant seem to nap.  

But today I feel different and I haven't had any caffeine besides my one cup of coffee this morning.(Yeah for Drea)  So even though I may not be as tired I'm still pee on the hour every hour it feels. :(

Tomorrow is Jenifer Bellers 30th birthday and a bunch of us are going to In The Raw (new place on OU's campus corner) for dinner.  Jenifer is an old friend and it should be a lot of fun tomorrow.  I will have to wear a dress cause I'm already starting to out grow some of my clothes (which sucks).  Well that's it for now I should get back to work and just be thankful I only have about 6 months left of this whole preggers thing.

Berr baby its cold outside

Berr it's cold outside.  So it appears that our office is one of the few left open today.  It's icy today and all I wanted to do was go back to bed.  Im 11 weeks pregnant now so Im still tired all the time and have to pee every hour on the hour.  I hear it gets better in just a few weeks so I'm holding out.  I need to start cleaning out the babies room.  Right now its our guest bedroom/junk room and I have quite a project there.  Well I think thats it for now. 

Ok so hello, one of my childhood best friends lives in South America (Morgan) and has talked me into starting a blog.  At first I thought know way but the past year has been pretty amazing and it seems to keep getting better so why not log it so you can read it.  My husband Matthew Dillard and I just got married October 4 2008 in Oklahoma City.  It was everything I dreamed of and more.  Then in December 2008 we found out were going to have our first child.  We're so excited and I thought it might be neat to share what's going on with me with all of you.  Also I know one day when are kid can read it all for him or her self they will get a good laugh out of there crazy Drea AKA soon to be Mommy.*%@#!:)
